Chris Dawes - Lead Pastor/Youth/Worship

    Pastor Chris is a native of Grand Forks.  He graduated from Central High School and then went on to the University of North Dakota and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music.  Pastor Chris is an accomplished singer, composer, and playright.  He has served at Valley Christian Center since 1991 as Youth and Worship Pastor.  He has served the North Dakota District of the Assemblies God Youth Department by helping with camps and youth conventions.

    Pastor Chris is married to Emily.  They have three children: Jonathan, Julia, and Jocelyn.  Emily loves teaching children.  She taught at Riverside Christian School after she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education.

   Coleen Feist - Christian Education Director

    Coleen Feist grew up in North Dakota.  She is married to Jay and has two children: Dakota and Kacie.  Coleen joined the staff of Valley Christian Center as Christian Education Director in September of 2007.

     Coleen has been involved in children's ministry at Valley Christian Center for many years.  She has been very active in the Missionettes ministry.  Her husband, Jay, is one of the commanders in the Royal Ranger Outpost of Valley Christian Center.  Coleen believes that children can be used by the Lord in ministry just as adults can and therefore should be discipled for ministry today - not tomorrow.

  Pastor Sam O'Donnell - Biblical Counseling Pastor

    Pastor Sam arrived in Grand Forks by appointment of the United States Air Force and is stationed at the Grand Forks Air Force Base.  He serves as "Pastor of Connections" and is responsible for connecting people to one another and to their gifts and places of service.

    Pastor Sam is married to Kim and they have two boys: Sam, Jr. and Ben.  Pastor Sam has served other churches in Children's Ministries.  He and his wife work with puppets.  Pastor Sam and his family joined VCC in 2004.

  Betsy Horn - Church Financial Manager

    Betsy Horn has been Church Financial Manager since 1995.  She's lived in Grand Forks since 1979 and worked for Metropolitan Federal Bank for 16 years.  She has lived all over as her father was in the military.  She married Hank Horn in 1986, blending two families together; her three daughters: Kimberly, Melanie, and Tiffany, and his two children: Dan and Deb.  Between them they have 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.  She loves reading and doing a variety of non-jigsaw puzzles.

    Betsy serves on the Worship Team, Women's Ministry Leadership Team, and Altar Prayer Team.  She also does Hospital Visitations and helps in the Infant Nursery.

  Susan Ritchie - Pastoral Administrative Assistant

    Susan Ritchie has lived in Grand Forks since 1991 with her husband, Bill, and their daughters, Faith and Autumn.  Susan has worked in the office at Valley Christian Center from 1994 to 1999 and then again from 2002 to present as the Pastoral Administrative Assistant.  She also oversees the production of our monthly newsletter and weekly bulletin. 

    Susan also serves on the Women's Ministry Leadership Team.
